What is Our Goal?

The Early Detection & Rapid Response (EDRR) Network Ontario is a community action project coordinated by the Invasive Species Centre. This project aims to train and equip volunteers with the skills and resources needed to better detect and reduce invasive species in Ontario, one community at a time.

EDDMaps Ontario

EDDMapS Ontario, or Early Detection and Distribution Mapping System Ontario, is a digital tool used to report and track invasive species across Ontario. It offers a fast and simple way to map invasive species without any technical or GIS expertise. Users can download the EDDMapS app for Android and Apple devices and simply snap a photo to report an invasive species on the spot.
